HAVEN OF HOPE Women's Home

HAVEN OF HOPEWomen's Home

Haven of Hope can provide service for up to six single women.  There, they can find a safe, supportive, Christ-centered environment for women and children to rebuild their lives; while meeting their physical, emotional, educational and spiritual needs on a one-to-one basis.
The Program Director helps facilitate other services offered through Merced County Human Service agencies such as the Merced County health clinic, legal aid services, government assistance programs, child care, etc.

Statistically, Rescue Mission programs have proven successful - 65% do not return to their previous transient lifestyle.  Our expectation is that 52% of our residents will move out into housing without utilizing government assistance.
At Haven of Hope it is a joy to see formerly homeless women and mothers address personal problems in a creative manner and go on to become productive citizens in the community.  There are many ways that you can be a part of this ministry... prayer, financial support, other donations, volunteering, etc.

I was really inspired by Michelle Obama and her campaign to end homelessness for women vets. Join me in an effort to improve the homeless situation in Merced. Women need more homeless housing in Merced and they need housing that accepts children. Please donate any clothes you are going to discard to Haven of Hope.

If you can, join me in making the elimination of homelessness for vets a priority. Thanks Mrs.Obama for getting us going.
